Teissier makes a big decision
After discovering that the former West Regional winner could step in to coach the same team he had just left, Salome and Kelly approached Teissier. He is their last hope to be able to participate, or even win the Coupe de France. It will also be an opportunity for him to get revenge against Cardon. But Teissier refuses their proposal: he promised his wife that he would take it easy.
Meanwhile, at the institute, Leroy continues to make Jasmine understand how her participation as a brigade leader in the Coupe de France is a golden opportunity for her career. Jimmy agrees. Only the young girl remains steadfast: she refuses to make such a low blow to Kelly. However, Leroy encourages her to think about what she would do if Kelly wasn’t part of the equation. Jasmine admits that she wanted to participate in the Coupe de France only in this case.
In the dressing room, Malik complains to Maya: He already saw himself winning the coupe de france and building a network of professionals to help him open a restaurant… his friend reminds him that there are plenty of other internship opportunities. During his studies in star restaurants.
In turn, Kelly tells her mother that Tessier turned down her proposal. Zachary, who also learned about this, supports the young girl. But the latter cannot but be disappointed. Laetitia emphasizes that she won’t have to deal with Chef Rosset anyway. Except Kelly would feel ready to take on him if he could compete in the Coupe de France.
After some reflection, Jasmine finally goes to Cardone’s office to tell him that she is accepting the position of brigade leader for the Coupe de France. He chooses Jim the second time, which the director confirms. All he needs to do now is find a clerk.
As for Teyssier, he joins Constance by their swimming pool. She suspects that her husband is thinking about Kelly and the Coupe de France. She admits that she worried about him and his health when he became obsessed with Blueprints. But he also doesn’t want her to turn into someone else. Therefore, he agrees to participate in the competition.
The choice of the new cardon brigade at the institute is among the students. Feeling betrayed, Kelly confronts Jasmine, who tries to explain that her decision was too difficult. Things get worse when he asks Kelly to be his clerk. Deeply disturbed, Kelly responds to her friend’s insults, which alerts Cardone. The director intervenes by calling Kelly into his office to separate the young girls.
While Cardoney is putting Kelly in his place, Teissier arrives to announce his decision to coach West Region during the Coupe de France. It is clear that he will train Kelly’s brigade. Cardone understands that there will be rivals. But that doesn’t deter Tessier, who intends to beat her fair and square…
Antoine is consumed by guilt
Suleiman tells Penelope that the students hung up portraits of Louis, calling him a murderer, the day before, in front of Gino’s class. Antoine, who joins the conversation, does not consider such humiliation of the boss to be normal. Suleiman and Penelope tend to defend students whose anger they see as legitimate. Indeed, it is largely because of Claire that Cardone is now at the helm of the Institute.
To promote unity among the students, Antoine decides to organize a tug of war in the institute’s park, led by Gaitan. Penelope then realizes that her companion feels guilty for voting for Cardone and tries to make it up to the students. Antoine admits to her that he also feels guilty about Teissier. Penelope urges him to go talk to her.
Guino agrees with Coach Vic
At the end of Gino’s class, Vicki offers to let him try the exercise from the day before to prove he can get a better grade than 8/20. She fears that this will cause her average to drop. The young girl also mentions that the boss gave them a grade only because he was angry. But Claire believes that this would not be fair to her comrades. He believes he will have other opportunities to make up for it.
Later, Guinot comes to the studio to retrieve the forgotten notebook. He then finds Vicky practicing his training. The latter admits that he was hoping to get fat thanks to good grades, and 8/20 destabilized him. Especially since he still has a sense of illegitimacy. Claire offers to coach him from time to time outside of the classroom. Vicky happily accepts.
They start right away. Claire takes the opportunity to ask Vic how his studies at the Institute are going. The young girl admits that there was some tension after the arrival of Kardon at the head of the school. But he also adds that he fully understands Claire’s motivations for voting – especially when it comes to Louis. At the same time, Suleiman arrives and surprises them by working together. He invites Vic to come drink with Malik, Maya, and him. Guinot suggests they resume training the next day, and Vicky joins his comrades.
Crossing the park, Suleiman questions Vicki’s motivations for getting close to Gino. Vicky claims that he just wants to improve his grades. He doesn’t play in the band to look good, but because Guino genuinely cares about him.
