Franca beats Paulistano again, while San Paolo beats Minas in the NBB quarter-finals
The second matches of the quarter-finals of the NBB took place this Tuesday. Franca Basquete won and extended their lead over Paulistano, while San Paolo recovered from their first-leg defeat to level the series with Minas.
Paulistano 75×89 Franca
Franca Basquete beat Paulistano 89-75 on Monday night, at the Ginásio Antônio Prado Júnior, in Sao Paulo, and opened 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the 2023/2024 NBB.
The scorer of the match was the winger of Paulistano, Crezceni, with 20 points, followed by David Jackson, of Franca, with 19.
In the event of another triumph on Wednesday, at 7pm, again in the capital Sao Paulo, the French team will advance to the semi-final.
San Paolo 105×74 Minas
Without realizing it, San Paolo had ample control and beat Minas 105 to 74, at the Morumbis gym. Now, the Sao Paulo team has equalized the series 1-1 in the competition stage.
The teams will face each other again, at 8pm, at the Morumbis gym, for the third match of the quarter-finals. Whoever wins will have the advantage in the fight for a place in the semi-finals.
