Fábio Carille’s team beats Bugrina in the empty Vila Belmiro and remains 100% in the access division
OR Santos 100% of the results obtained were maintained B seriesthis Monday, defeating Guarani, of 4 to 1, in Vila Belmiro, in a duel valid for the third round. If the Santos team has reached nine points and is in command, together with Sport, Campinas’ team continues without points in the championship and occupies last place.
The match started cold, as did the atmosphere in Vila Belmiro, empty due to the punishment given due to incidents that occurred in last year’s relegation match. On the pitch, the distance between the teams in the standings was not noticeable.
Guarani initially manages to equalize the match and comes close to scoring in the 20th minute with Luan Dias hitting João Paulo’s crossbar forcefully.
Santos’ highlight, once again, was Guilherme, who amassed three chances to open the scoring, in the 32nd minute. The attacker receives the ball in the left half of the pitch and hits a cross to make it 1-0.
The disadvantage in the rankings ruined Guarani’s mental health. Santos, in turn, prevailed and increased their lead in the 40th minute, with a beautiful goal from Diego Pituca.
And when the phase is bad, everything goes wrong. The Guarani defense passes a ball into the area and Gil, as a centre-forward, turns the ball beautifully to make it 3-0 for Santos, in the 43rd minute. But the move was contested because the defender was offside at the start of the move.
The first half ended completely differently than it began. Santos is the master of the duel, while Guarani, destroyed, does not seem to have the strength to return to the second phase.
The second half begins at a slow pace, with the impression that the teams have resigned themselves to the result. Guarani started to attack, but proved to be very fragile and conceded two more goals. The first with Morelos, at nine, and Guilherme, at 16 minutes.
If Guarani didn’t get their first point in Serie B, at least Campinas’ team scored their first goal in the competition. And it comes from the spot, with a beautiful shot from Caio Dantas, in the 27th minute.
From then on the game was open, but the Santos players became disinterested, while the Guarani players didn’t have the strength to seek a reaction.
