The next big sensation in the galaxy is called The Acolyte and it will introduce a new story with new characters that takes place in a time period that has not been told before.

Acolyte is set at the end of the High Republic era, one hundred years before the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Before they could watch the series, fans were delighted to discover a new trailer for the fictional World Star Wars Day, “May the 4th”.

Directed by showrunner Leslie Headland (Russian Doll), The Acolyte follows a revered Jedi master’s investigation into a series of mysterious crimes that lead him to a dangerous warrior from the past, namely his former Padawan.
