After The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Andor, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka, Star Wars fans will soon discover a new series of events. The next big sensation in the galaxy is called The Acolyte and it will introduce a new story with new characters that takes place in a time period that has not been told before.
Acolyte is set at the end of the High Republic era, one hundred years before the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Before they could watch the series, fans were delighted to discover a new trailer for the fictional World Star Wars Day, “May the 4th”.
Directed by showrunner Leslie Headland (Russian Doll), The Acolyte follows a revered Jedi master’s investigation into a series of mysterious crimes that lead him to a dangerous warrior from the past, namely his former Padawan.
As new clues emerge, the two embark on a dark path where evil forces show them that things are not always as they seem…
The dark side shows itself
“No one is safe from the truth”. As the new trailer for The Acolyte reveals, the Jedi are in danger and the balance of the Force is at stake. Is peace just an illusion? While the Jedi Order, then at its peak, is being called into question, the forces of the dark side are seizing the opportunity to gain ground as the Sith at the end of the trailer.
