On social media, Monise Alves said she couldn’t contain her emotion when she saw a photo of her husband with the baby in her lap




Monise Alves, wife of surfer and former BBB Lucas Chumbo, was moved to see her husband save a child from the floods that hit Rio Grande do Sul. “Our children are blessed,” Monise Alves said in the publication.

In the image shared on Instagram, Chumbo appears smiling with a baby on his lap. Within minutes of posting, the video went viral. In addition to his wife’s comment, the child’s mother also thanked the surfer for the rescue.

“It’s my daughter Aurora, gratitude for your life,” Alexsandra wrote. “Now the twins Aurora and Antonella are together again thanks to the courage of men who make a difference in humanity,” added Alexandra.

Rescue team

Currently Lucas Chumbo, Pedro Scooby and other professional surfers specializing in big waves are in Rio Grande do Sul with boats and jet skis, collaborating with teams of volunteers to save victims of the floods that hit the state.

On social media, Internet users from different parts of the world support and send messages of love to surfers.

“My hero wears a rubber suit and rides a jet ski,” wrote an Internet user identified as Ingrid. Another added: “They deserve the Rio Grande do Sul medal of honor! Gratitude.”
