We review everything that has happened in the end of the Disney + series, which will not return for a fourth season.
Spoilers for the ending of ‘With love, Victor’ below
After three seasons, ‘With love, Victor’ has said goodbye on Disney + with an ending full of emotions on the surface, important decisions and a new horizon of opportunities. Oh, and also a fantastic detail that connects it with its predecessor, ‘With love, Simon’, one of the best LGTBIQ+ movies, and that puts the icing on the cake for this definitive outcome of the series.
Also based on the work of Becky Albertalli, the series follows Víctor Salazar (Michael Cimino), a young man of Latin American parents who moves to a new city and finds himself the new kid at Creekwood High School. However, the worst thing is that his biggest conflict is with himself. Víctor is in the process of self-discovery, discovering who he is and what his sexual orientation isand also has to deal with the increasingly irreparable relationship between his parents.
Throughout its three seasons, all the conflicts with which ‘With love, Víctor’ began have been channeled (for better or worse) and the last episode arrives with a pressing question: who will Victor end up with? Will it be with the sweet Benji, with whom he has been in love since the beginning? Or maybe with Rahim, with whom we already saw him start something in the second season? Or will it be newcomer Nick, with whom he’s had an instant connection even though his thing is a no-strings relationship? We review everything that has happened in the outcome of the series, both with Víctor and with his environment.
‘With love, Víctor’: who does Víctor end up with at the end?
Victor’s love life has been very busy this season. Benji had to solve his own problems, the Rahim thing got stuck too quickly (although they remained friends) and finally a promising new character entered the scene: Nick. It turns out that the protagonist’s parents are rogues and organize a blind date with this boy. Lucky for Victor, not only did he like it but they were both on the same page: a relationship without commitments, nothing serious. But the touch makes love and soon feelings begin to emerge between them, which they will not have time to fully address. We will see why.
In the series finale, Benji tells Victor that he is leaving Creekwood for boarding school in Connecticut., because he needs to get away from all his dramas. It seems that what was between them is over, but… Not so fast! Some final revelations shake the picture. On the one hand, during an acceptance speech for an award he’s been given at school, Victor talks a lot and very well about Benji, which now makes Nick think that where there were flames, there are still ashes. Although he is rather a flare. Secondly, Benji finds out that Victor only took the step of starting something with Nick because his father told him to stay away from him.. And this makes him change his perspective a lot.
In the finale, Victor attends the Winter Fair alone and rides the Ferris wheel. And who shows up? Well Benji! In a reflection of the outcome of ‘With love, Simon’, the series brings the two young people back together on the Ferris wheel and both decide to try again. According to his account, Benji realized that his emotional problems were not Victor’s fault, but rather the pressure his parents were putting on him. Despite the regrets, Victor says that he would not change anything about his story, because it is his story and it is perfect. Long live love!
‘With love, Victor’: what about the rest of the characters?

It is clear that Víctor is the protagonist of this whole story (let’s see, his name is in the title, that’s right), but the golden secondary of the series also had their happy ending in the last episode.
Mia makes the decision to move to Palo Alto to be closer to her father and her new baby brother, and begins to alienate Andrew with silly fights. However, after listening to Victor’s speech during his award collection about bravery and losing fear of taking risks, Mia realizes that the real reason for these arguments was her fear that a long-distance relationship would not work out, but, for Andrew, she is willing to try.. Mia and Andrew end up together…for now.
For her part, Mia’s best friend, Lake, has her own love dramas. In this season, Lake definitively decides that his thing with Felix is over, he discovers that he is bisexual and, in addition, he realizes that he is in love with Lucy (and vice versa), and both start a relationship. In addition, everything ends well even with her mother, with whom she has always had a somewhat complicated relationship.
And the good of Felix? Well, we remember that a kind of triangle was formed between him, Lake and Víctor’s sister, Pilar, but in the end it seems that everything stays in the family. Never better said. In a certain moment, Félix confesses to Pilar and explains how lonely he was before the Salazars became his neighbors and how they have been the only family he has ever known.. Therefore, their romance is something almost impossible. Pilar understands this and, although they don’t get back together, in the last scenes at the Winter Fair we see her dragging (lovingly) Félix to take a picture with the Salazars. He is and always has been part of the family.
As we can see, each one of the characters has found its outcome, so it is very unlikely that ‘With love, Victor’ will return for a fourth season. This is the final ending, and we’re glad that at least everyone is happy and eating partridges.
