After just two evenings on air, TF1 broadcasts this Thursday 9 May at 9.10pm the family thriller hosted by Lanick Gautry and Laura Sépul. The latter gives its qualities to Agatha, a mother with a seemingly perfect life.
A charming house, a loving and talented husband and healthy children, everything seems to be in its place. However, after 15 years of marriage, the varnish on this beautiful postcard is starting to crack.
The suspicious suicide of a young woman in the hotel where her husband was working is causing suspicion. Is the man she shares her life with a murderer? She realizes that she has been trapped in an abusive and toxic relationship for several years, with no real way out.
As soon as suspicion arises, Agathe falls into obsession, and the family unit becomes the arena of a high-voltage criminal investigation. Like the founding fears of our childhood, the monster is no longer in the closet, it’s in the bed.
Is a second season possible?
during the interview given to RTBFProducer Catherine Burnium and screenwriters Sophia Perrier and Barbara Abel have announced that Attraction will indeed return for a second season. But if the end of season 1 is open, Agathe suspects another member of her family, new episodes will not continue.
Attraction is truly an anthology series, each new season tells a new story. Barbara Abel said:The concept is “home, family and the threat from within”“.
After discussing the topic of toxic marriage, the new episode will talk about toxic motherhood. At this time, no casting or air date has been announced for this new season of Attraction. To be continued…
