The stalker who inspired “Baby Rena” will tell his version of events

The shocking story of the Netflix series Baby Reindeer, which tells how comedian Richard Gadd was chased by a stalker for years, left many viewers impressed and even wondering if everything depicted in the series actually happened. Because we’re about to have a new version of the story, right about the woman who would be Gadd’s stalker.

In the series, the stalker is portrayed as the obsessive Martha, who pursues Donny, a character inspired by Richard Gadd and played by Richard Gadd himself, after meeting him in the bar where he worked. But Martha, in fact, is the inspiration for who the real stalker would be: Fiona Harvey.

Fiona, who has already publicly shown dissatisfaction with the way the facts were portrayed in the series, accusing Gadd of distorting them, will appear on host Piers Morgan’s British talk show this Thursday, where she promises to give her side of the story.

“People need to know what’s going on. I have never been to prison. I don’t know where those four years and nine months of sentence came from. None of this happened. It’s a load of nonsense. Gadd has to prove that I was arrested. This is all fabrication and hyperbole,” Fiona said of what was reported in the Baby Reindeer series.

Fiona was discovered by Internet users as the “real-life Martha” after her posts from years ago showed a great resemblance to the messages the stalker sends to Gadd in the series. She, however, claims that the comedian is the real culprit in the story.

After the broadcast of the program, which should take place this Thursday (09) at 4pm (Brasilia time), the interview will also be available in full on the YouTube channel of Piers Morgan’s program.
