Spanish Grey’s Anatomy on Netflix

But this won’t be the only Grey’s Anatomy-style series that the American giant will offer its subscribers, as it has just revealed images from the Spanish medical drama! On Netflix Spain’s X account (formerly Twitter), subscribers were able to preview this feature from Elite creator Carlos Montero.

Entitled “Breath” (breathless in English), this series immerses us in the daily life of the Joaquín Sorolla Public Hospital in Valencia, where lives are saved every day. Physicians and residents work hard, at a breakneck pace in emergencies where stress, emotions, and even desires overwhelm an increasingly exhausted staff. The difficult situation of the healthcare system leads to an unprecedented situation…

Written by Carlos Montero, Carlos Ruano, Guillermo Escribano and Pablo Saiz and directed by David Pinillos and Marta Font, this new Spanish series is Carlos Montero’s new project with Netflix, Elite, Feria: Glimmer in the Dark, After You, Chaos and All. The time when we loved each other.

“The original idea for this series came from this paradox, this dilemma: to save the health care system as a whole, we may have to abandon patients.”He trusted variety, “It’s obviously a very extreme premise, but I think there’s a very rich opportunity for storytelling.”

In addition to a strong story, Respira will be able to draw on the resources provided by Netflix to offer a high-profile medical series with a modern visual identity that combines spectacular medical cases, moving personal dramas and breathtaking pacing.

The cast includes popular Spanish actors and actresses, including Najwa Nimri (La Casa de Papel), Aytana Sánchez Gijon (Madres Parallelas), Blanca Suarez (Girls on the Phone), Manu Rios (Elite), Borja Luna (Les Demoiselles du telephone). ), Ana Rayo (Mercado Central) and Alfonso Basave (Un Dos Tres, Grand Hotel).

With series production well underway, we can look forward to a future release on Netflix for Breathless. The date has not yet been announced.
