The coach was sent off and the attacker received a yellow card
Commentator for São Paulo x Fluminense, Eric Faria analyzed the confusion in the first half involving striker Luciano and coach Fernando Diniz. The two argued and the coach ended up getting kicked out. The Globo journalist criticized their position and sent a message to the commander of the Rio Tricolor.
– Luciano didn’t need it, especially since Daronco wouldn’t let the game continue. He wouldn’t be able to quickly charge this full-back in attack – commented Eric speaking of the San Paolo striker.
– Fernando Diniz is a creative coach, he makes his teams play football, but this is not the first, second or third time we have seen something like this happen. He has to review this aspect, he doesn’t need to talk to the opponent, this is not part of the coach’s job. He must learn to control himself, it hurts him and Fluminense – said the Diniz journalist.
The confusion came at the end of the first half, when Manoel played the ball and fell onto the pitch injured. Luciano immediately takes the ball and threatens to charge the full-back. Diniz complained to the striker and the two started an argument, which had to be separated from the other players.
