Dead by Daylight will have Dungeons & Dragons inspired content

A chapter based on Castlevania was also announced

Developer Behavior Interactive has announced that one of the next upcoming chapters of Dead by Daylight will be inspired by Dungeons & Dragons and will be released on June 3rd. It was also said that a Castlevania chapter and a new 2v8 mode will be included.

In D&D content, the iconic villain Vecna, known in Dead by Daylight as The Lich, will be the new Assassin, while the Bard, Aestrei Yazar, will be the new Survivor. The new map, Forgotten Ruins, promises to take players into a mysterious dungeon, full of secrets to discover.

Aspects of Dungeons & Dragons, such as obtaining loot, magic items and rolling dice, will also be included in the gameplay, giving the experience more authenticity.

As for Castlevania content, not much has been said, only that it will be available later this year, during Q3.

Talking about the new 2v8 mode, it promises to give a “shaken” in gameplay, with two Killers facing eight Survivors on an expanded map. This mode will also feature gameplay changes, with perks replaced with something equivalent to a class system and cages added in place of hooks. More information on the new mode will be revealed in July.
