The teaser for “Dune: The Prophecy” is set 10 thousand years before the films; clock

Max released the official teaser for the original series this Wednesday (15th). Dune: The Prophecy Inspired by romance Dune’s Sister HoofWritten by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, the series is set in the vast Dune universe, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, and 10,000 years before the story told in the Dune films released in theaters.

The six-episode season will premiere this year on Max. Watch the teaser below:

The plot of the series follows the journey of two Harkonnen sisters, who fight against forces that pose a threat to the future of humanity. At the same time, they work to found the legendary sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit.

Actress Jessica Barden, nominated for the British Independent Film Award (BIFA) in the Best Supporting Actress category, has just joined the cast of the series.

Barden will play the ambitious, headstrong and energetic young woman Valya Harkonnem, who dreams of restoring her family’s noble status. But when tragedy shatters her plans, she finds herself on a new path that leads her to the Brotherhood.

Alongside Jessica, Tabu, Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Johdi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason and Shalom Brune – Franklin, completes the stellar cast of the series.
