And viewers of the Netflix series were touched by the death of a character that is undoubtedly the saddest of the season.

In the final two episodes of Stranger Things season 4, Eddie and Dustin follow Nancy’s plan to the upside. After a crazy guitar rendition of Metallica’s “Master of Puppets,” Eddie and Dustin take refuge in the RV, but Eddie realizes he needs to buy some time for Dustin and the rest of the gang.

He then decides to let Dustin return to the real world, cutting the port rope and creating a diversion with the demon bats that had already attacked Steve (Joe Keary) in Volume 1. He is attacked by these creatures, who eventually kill him. .

Then Eddie proves, if he really needs to, his worth, and he dies a hero in Dustin’s arms, inconsolable for the loss of his friend. But in Hawkins, he is still seen as a cult leader and responsible for evil events. Dustin then insists on telling Eddie’s uncle what a good man the young man was in a moving sequence.
