Apparently, those eager to do so M3GAN 2.0, sequel to the 2022 horror production, we will have to wait a little longer to see the result of the doll with artificial intelligence. According to information from Variety, Universal Pictures announced on Thursday the 16th that the release of the film, previously scheduled for May 16, 2025, has been postponed again.
When will M3GAN 2.0 be released?
M3GAN 2.0 will see the return of Gerard Johnstone, original director, and Akela Cooper, screenwriter of the first film. The horror sequel will also see the return of Violet McGraw, who played Cady in the original film, Allison Williams, the robotics expert, and Amie Donald, the actress behind the doll.
The studio also announced the release dates of two new titles: The woman in the courtyard, which will premiere on March 28, 2025 and Dripreleased in theaters on April 11 of the same year.
As mentioned, The black phone 2previously scheduled for June 27, 2025, it will now release on October 17.
Directed by Scott Derrickson, there aren’t many details about the plot of the sequel. It’s worth mentioning, however, that the first feature film, in 2021, was well received by critics and was a success in theaters, grossing over $161 million at the box office worldwide.
