Allocine: Constance and Teissier (Benjamin Barochet) make quite the charming couple. If Constance is a gentle, kind and compassionate woman, Teissier is a strict and demanding man. Do you think it’s these differences that make Constance and Emmanuel a couple that works and seduces viewers?

Sabine Perrault: I think they are necessary for each other. Teissier gives great character to Constance. If she’s with a man like him, it’s because she’s got it under the hood. In turn, Constance gives humanity to Teyssier. In order for him to stay with a woman like this and for her to tolerate him, he must have a good background hidden somewhere in him.

Constance is currently in the midst of a midlife crisis. An opportunity for viewers to discover her more rebellious and self-confident. Did you enjoy playing this new aspect of your character?

I loved it! I liked it because I think it speaks to a lot of women and men. I saw it in the audience response. There are many women who have spent twenty years of their lives raising children, working, having a family life with everything, one day they find themselves with children who are less available because they grow up, leave and live, but also. With a husband who is busy with his work or who pays less attention to them. As a result, they have time to think, think about themselves, question themselves, and it’s dizzying. And then suddenly, they say, “What am I going to do with my life?” I think that’s the biggest number and it really bothered me.

Constance is preparing to resume her studies to become an osteopath. Will she leave the institute or continue the nursing profession?

She will remain a part-time nurse. The whole point was that she could continue her nursing profession while studying. And why not, then integrating his performances as an osteopath into the institute.

There was a wonderful friendship between Zacharias (Julien Alugeta) and Constance. Now that he’s chosen Tessier, what can we expect for these characters in the next episodes?

I do not know. To be honest, we haven’t said anything yet. I am very afraid that we are not at all allowed to be together, even in friendship, because Teissier has already admitted that Zacharias will stay. Even if Constance freed herself, I believe it would be inappropriate for the couple to continue their friendship with Zacharias. At least until things stabilize. I’m sad after that because I love Julien Aluget who plays Zachary. I would like to continue playing with him, but we will see what the future holds.

Constance chose to give him a second chance at marriage. Now more certain, what will be the new dynamic between Constance and Teyssier? Is this second chance right?

I think so ! These are people who have not stopped loving each other. Also, Constance finally came to terms with the fact that she still had feelings for her husband, that he was lost, and that she was very stupid at the time. She never loved Zachary. He had a great affection for her, especially because of the interest she showed in him. In my opinion, this is really a return to the honeymoon between Constance and Teyssier. It’s extremely beautiful because this couple, who had a short period of love, still love each other like they did on the first day, if only they had more time and access to live. It is very good and should continue like this. First in a more carnal way, then with a healthier balance in family authority.

Constance is a character we know little about. Can we hope to learn more about his past?

To be honest, I have no idea. I haven’t mentioned it yet, but it could happen. It turns out that there are many of us in the series and everyone should have their moment. So it cannot always be focused on the same thing. I think Constance will be more cautious for a while so that everyone can exist. However, maybe in step two we could actually learn a little more about him, his family, or other aspects of his personality. It could be good and I still liked it.

You were playing in our retirement years, what are your memories of that time?

Excellent memory. I experienced at that age that now everything starts here young people. In the summer we took two months a year and we all stayed together. I was the oldest and already the mother of the group. It’s funny, it’s something that’s been with me for the rest of my life. I was a mother before being a mother. We’ve been having fun doing comedy-oriented stuff. It was totally crazy and on top of that we were making music that was pretty cool!
