Surprisingly, GM presents the new Trailblazer with an engine managed by artificial intelligence

Chevrolet took part in the presentation of the new S10 line to also announce the changes to the 2025 Trailblazer 7-seater SUV, now High Country

GM prepared the entire event in Pirinópolis, in the hinterland of Goiás, around the new Chevrolet S10 linewhich was enriched with a new version and a series of innovations, but surprised those present with the confirmation of the renewal of the SUV derived from the pick-up: the Pioneer.

Almost at the end of the executives’ presentation, Suelen Arice, Marketing and Product Manager of the Chevrolet pickup line, showed a slide with a small summary of how the 2025 Trailblazer will arrive in Brazil.

“It is the most technological SUV on the market,” he joked, underlining that the model will follow innovations in design, mechanics and technology incorporated into members of the S10 family.

This means the 2025 Trailblazer has a new hood, LED headlights, grille, bumpers, badges and wheels, as well as a refreshed finish on the doors and lights and a number of developments in the manufacturing process.

Trailblazer is now High Country

Another significant change to the S10-derived SUV is that the only version on sale in Brazil is now called High Country, the same as the top-of-the-line variant of the truck. It was adopted to replace the Premier name, until then the only version available in Brazil.

It arrives better equipped, with a virtual cockpit concept and premium applications in finishing materials. The engine and gearbox are also new and, like the S10, are controlled by artificial intelligence. The SUV also underwent modifications to the suspension, which was recalibrated, featured wider tracks and improved acoustics in the cabin.

The new generation 2.8 Turbo Diesel engine ensures that the 7-seater utility vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds and has an average consumption of 9.2 km/l and 11.2 km/l respectively in city and on the highway. .

Performance is superior and consumption is very similar to its competitors Toyota SW4 Diamond and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Legend, both less equipped and with fewer resources than the Chevrolet Trailblazer High Country.

“Equally relevant as the extra power and torque is the use of artificial intelligence in the electronic management of the engine, in addition to the use of machine learning in the development of its calibration. Thus allowing a high standard of balance between performance, fuel savings and low emissions levels. Unbeatable ratio in the category”, said Fabio Daumichen, chief product engineer.

How much does the 2025 Trailblazer cost?

Those interested in purchasing “Brazil’s most high-tech SUV” can now search for GM dealerships across the country. The price is unique and very aggressive compared to its rivals: R$368,550, compared to R$409,990 for the Pajero and R$433,490 for the SW4.
