To the delight of Steve Carell fans, The office, HBO announced this Monday (20th) another comedy program with the actor. Written by Bill Lawrence, from Ted Lassoand Matt Tarses, from The GoldbergsWarner Bros. has already ordered 10 episodes of the series, which will explore a troubled relationship between an author and his teenage daughter, as reported by Deadline.

For Lawrence, “make a program there [HBO] with Steve Carell is an immediate career highlight for Matt and me. Nothing can go wrong now“, the screenwriter said in a statement.
Famous for his role as Michael Scott in The office, Carell is one of the sitcom’s protagonists who received increased visibility and career boost from the production’s success. He has received six Emmy nominations for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, as well as winning a Golden Globe for the series in 2006.
With nine seasons, The office is available on Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount+ and HBO Max.
For those who don’t remember, in cinema the actor is also remembered for great comic successes, such as The 40 year old virgin AND The big bet.
