After a long wait, The Witcher fans can look forward to Season 4. After the first photo leaked online, Netflix has now revealed the first teaser of Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher.
Let’s not run too fast either, Netflix only gives us a 35-second clip, during which we first see his silhouette reflected in the water, and then his silhouette drifts through the thick fog like pea puree. We finally see his back before he slowly turns around and finally shows his face.

Lauren S. Hisrich, the showrunner of The Witcher, spoke Entertainment Weekly On everything that Liam Hemsworth brought to both the performance and the role, he said:
“His look has been in the works for over a year, so it’s exciting to finally share an official look with Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia. The cast and crew were in awe of the passion, energy and embodiment that Liam brought to the character from day one – black beard, iconic scar and all! We’re having so much fun filming Season 4 and can’t wait for fans to join us on this journey.“
More changes to come
It was a big surprise when Henry Cavill’s departure was announced. Especially considering the praise she received for her performance and passion for the character. The choice of Liam Hemsworth to replace him surprised many, but fans have since been impressed by his comments about the role, saying he could be a good choice.

But it’s not just Hemsworth’s arrival that will shake up the Witcher world. Other big names and characters very popular among fans of the books and games have been announced. Hence, this includes the introduction of Laurence Fishburne as barber-surgeon Regis, Sharlto Copley as bounty hunter Leo Bonhart, James Purefoy as spy and legal adviser Skellen and Danny Woodburn as Zoltan.
Production on the fourth season of The Witcher just started in April. We still don’t know the date of its transmission, but we shouldn’t hope until 2025. The series will end with the fifth season.
