Dune: part 2, the second part of the science fiction epic that adapts the book of the same name written by Frank Herbert, arrived at work on the 21st, making up for a very hot week with almost no news. The title, which debuted in theaters at the end of February, is the highest-grossing film of the year so far, having grossed more than $710 million and received much critical praise.
Who also showed up this week to Max was the first season of Abandoned, naked and isolated, a reality show that continues to have its episodes arriving weekly on streaming. The survival program takes nine veterans to an insect-infested island where they must survive, even without tools, maps or clothes.
Finally, another series that has also attracted attention these days on the platform was Young Sheldon, the Big Bang Theory spin-off, currently in its seventh and final season. With the weekly episodes broadcast a little later than in the United States (where the series just concluded), production is now moving towards the final chapters, which promise to provide strong emotions for fans of the program.
