The gaúcha woman met Redondo in 2004, when she interned at his restaurant “El Celler de Can Roca”, in Spain. A strong professional bond is born between the two, which ends up turning into a love story. Together they arrived in Brazil in 2006 and opened the ‘Hands’, in Sao Paulo. Already married, the couple combined their culinary experience and vision to establish the place as one of the leading gastronomic destinations in Brazil and around the world.
In 2014 the two decided to divorce, without going into details to the media. In the same year she meets her current husband, Bruno Kayapy, but she never stops maintaining her emotional bond with Daniel, who teaches her much of the culinary world. “No separation is easy. They were difficult and painful times because we built everything together and mixed it up,” she said in an interview with ‘Trip’ magazine, two years after the breakup.
