On Monday 27 May at Plus belle la vie, even more…
Aya has already returned
All the Mistralians are working to find Yael. Luna and Blanche decide to put up posters of the little boy all over the city of Marseille. As he prepares to help the two women, Killian receives an unexpected visit from Mistral: Aya.
Indeed, when she learned of Yael’s disappearance, Aya jumped on the first train. Killian is surprised to see her so soon, but excited. He offers to help put up posters.
Two “exes” are looking for Yael in the streets. Killian takes the opportunity to tell Aya that he hasn’t stopped thinking about her all weekend. But the young woman answers: “I didn’t come back for us”. He still adds that he is happy to see her again. Will they get back together?
Barbara is devastated
The police go to Mistral to question Barbara. He is completely devastated by what is happening to him. He tells Patrick that he’s sure the kidnapper is also the one who wrote the threatening letter. He is right?
While everyone does their part to find little Yael, Thomas stays in Mistral to be with his friends. He prepared food for her, but Barbara does not want to eat anything. He is afraid of only one thing: Yael has already left Marseille, especially since the first hours are decisive in the disappearance of the child.
Suddenly, as she is talking to Thomas, her phone rings. This is an unknown number. He opens the message and sees these few words: “You see what happens when you take your eyes off your child.” Barbara is devastated. Thomas immediately calls Samuel to inform him of this new development.
Who kidnapped little Yael?
At the police station, Meilin and Patrick try to find out more about Barbara’s connections to the people of Mistral. Against all expectations, the policeman asks the mother: “Have you thought about Abdel?” She claims it could be one of her late husband’s former associations. Barbara is outraged that such an idea could come up.
For his part, Morgan looked at the city’s video surveillance cameras and found an important clue: zooming in on a photo of the person who stole the cart, he noticed that it was a woman wearing a large ring on her finger. He is confused because he feels that he has seen it somewhere.
Thanks to this evidence, the police now know that the kidnapper is not a professional. And for good reason, showing off such impressive jewelry when you’re actively looking for it is a serious mistake.
Later that day, Samuel informs his colleagues that Barbara received a text message from the person who kidnapped Yael. This is a prepaid phone. Suddenly, Patrick has a revelation: he thinks it’s one of the people who worked at Minibout’s daycare. Maybe an employee who lost his job because of Barbara?
At the Masalia residence, Jules walks into Morgan’s room. The latter explains to him that he cannot stop thinking about the woman’s ring. He shows the photo to his girlfriend and she replies: “This is Mary LeBlanc, director of Minibout.”
Samuel, Patrick and Jean-Paul immediately receive the message. While they are looking in the police car, Samuel and Patrick meet Maryse behind the wheel of the Clio. A chase ensues between the kidnapper and the police.
In turn, Jean-Paul goes to the woman’s house. The latter gets out and gets into the car of Samuel and Jean-Paul. They ask where the child is and he says in a frightened voice: “I swear I didn’t mean to hurt her.”
Mayor LeBlanc’s house is closed, no sound is heard. Is there a little yael inside? A few minutes later, while Barbara is concerned, the police arrive with the baby in hand. He is healthy.
