Knives Out 3 with Daniel Craig: We know the title of Benoit Blanc’s new investigation

A new investigation is being prepared for Benoit Blanc. Inspired by Hercule Poirot and starring Daniel Craig, the hero of Knives Out is back in action for a third opus! Rian Johnson, the director of the first two films, announced the news on his official X (Twitter) account with the title reveal.

called Wake Up Dead Man – wake up dead In French – The project marks the last of two chapters commissioned by the streaming giant. The teaser ends with a 2025 release, which means production will begin.

This teaser is narrated by Daniel Craig. Therefore, the presence of the actor is confirmed. “Knives came out at first. Then the glass shattered. But my most dangerous investigation will be revealed” – says the voice of Benoit Blanc.

Aside from the coffin, the teaser doesn’t leave out any details about the possible plot of this third film. Still on his X account, director Rian Johnson writes:I love everything about thrillers, but one of the things I love most is the flexibility of the genre. There’s a whole tonal range, from Curry to Christie, and exploring that range is one of the most interesting things in Benoit Blanc’s cinema..”

He follows: “We’re going into production on the third one, and I’m very, very excited to share a title that gives a little insight into where things are going.“So this Wake Up Dead Man promises to be a very different tone from the two previous films.

Netflix should soon reveal the names of the stars who will make up the cast of this new investigation.
