Marinho, Calebe and Lucas Sasha are among Leão do Pici’s absences for Sunday’s decision (26) against Sport
This Sunday (26th), at 6pm (Brasilia time), Fortaleza will face Sport, at the Arena Pernambuco, in a single match of the semi-finals of the Copa do Nordeste. Among the new features, the novelty is the return of defender Brítez. Eight athletes, however, are not available to Vojvoda for the decision.
The Fortaleza delegation went this Saturday afternoon (25th) to face the challenge against Sport. Among the players involved in the decision for Nordestão, the good news is the return of Brítez. The defender was replaced at half-time of the duel against Boca Juniors and was ruled out of the decision against Vasco, due to a muscle strain in his right thigh. Despite Brítez’s return, eight athletes are out of the decision.
Among the absences, four names are not playing in the Copa do Nordeste because they arrived after registrations for the competition closed, these are Breno Lopes, Renato Kayzer, Felipe Jonatan and Emmanuel Martínez. Three other absentees are being treated for injuries and follow-up at the medical department. Also out of the duel are Calebe, Lucas Sasha and Marinho.
Unavailable since March 30, when Fortaleza played the first match of the Cearense Championship final, Calebe is struggling with muscle edema in his left thigh. Lucas Sasha continues his transition to the Italian medical department, after having treated a strained ligament in his right knee. Substituted in the match against Vasco, after feeling pain, Marinho also did not reach the semi-final. There is no information yet on the attacker’s condition.
