The striker hasn’t found the net in three games and tries to score for the last time before joining the Brazilian national team
Striker Endrick lives his last moments with the Palmeiras shirt. He will play his farewell match this Thursday (30th), against San Lorenzo, at Allianz Parque, in the last round of the Libertadores group stage. But the Palestinian jewel also tries to find his way back to goals, before saying goodbye to Verdão.
The boy hasn’t scored in three games. Curiously, his last goal was in the Libertadores, during the 5-0 defeat against Liverpool-URU, away from home. Since then, he has played empty-handed against Athletico Paranaense, Independiente Del Valle and Botafogo-SP.
This season, Endrick has played 21 games for Palmeiras, 20 of which he started. In total, he found the net only four times. At the beginning of the year he missed the club due to some commitments while serving the Brazilian team in the Pre-Olympic. Furthermore, he also played friendlies with the main team.
Endrick would still have a chance to play one match before joining the Brazilian team. In the duel against Criciúma, on June 2nd, for the Brasileirão, he will have to serve a suspension.
Endrick joins Real Madrid after the Copa América
After the Copa América dispute, Endrick will not return to Brazil and will go directly to Spain, where he will officially be the new Real Madrid player. The match against San Lorenzo thus marks the last time that Palmeiras fans will see one of their great jewels wearing the Alviverde shirt.
