It’s a tradition that dates back to 1906 in France: every last Sunday in May (unless it also falls on Pentecost Sunday), we celebrate and honor our mothers.
Two years ago we introduced you to play with the most famous mothers in cinema, inviting you to search among four faces that were the mothers of different characters in feature films.
The first question was about, for example, Marty McFly, the young hero of Back to the Future, and despite the film’s cult status, 20% of you still chose the wrong answer, for example, by checking the face of actor Sally. Field, Tom Hanks’ mother in Forrest Gump, or Frances Lee McCain, Young Bill’s mother in Gremlin.
The second question moved to the DC Universe, asking you to guess who the face of Wonder Woman’s mother was in the Patty Jenkins adaptation, and you only managed to get half of the correct answer by choosing actress Connie Nielsen.
A quiz that was also about animated movies because one of the questions asked you to find baby Riley’s mother in reverse. 10% of you chose Helen Parr from The Incredibles, 7% chose Linda from Mitchell Vs. the Machines, but 80% still chose the correct face, Gilles Andersen’s face.
