A Better Life Preview: Episode Summary for Tuesday, July 5, 2022 [SPOILERS]

As a result of the discussion, Abdel and Elisa manage to agree that both of them should put their father’s responsibilities first. The two lovers finally meet again, sharing an intimate moment. They promise to support each other and plan to link their firms to work together.

Barbara, on the other hand, is angry with Tim for showing Elisa’s video without Abdel’s consent. But the journalist believes that Vincent’s involvement in the potential murders is much more serious.

Shortly after, Abdel informs Tim and Barbara that he has decided to warn Judge Colbert along with Elisa about Karim and Vincent’s crime. He asks Tim to wait for the video to be posted on the Internet if they run the risk.

So Abdel waits for Tim to get the USB key on the video. Elisa goes to court, and Abdel meets his father. Karim realizes that he will be handed over to the police and resigns himself to his fate, believing that he is too old to run.

Meanwhile, Barbara is walking down Marseille Street and sees Tim on the terrace of a cafe. He realizes that he is arguing with Vincent. When she joins him, Tim explains that he wanted to give her an answer to his documentary. Barbara is puzzled…

In the judge’s office, Abdel and Elisa give him Tim’s USB key. But they find it empty…

Noah cooks a romantic breakfast with Lola. This person gets a call from Betty, who informs her that she wants to come to the ball. So he makes sure Killian isn’t there. Noah is embarrassed to hear this news.

While Lola and Sunale prepare for the ball, Noah goes to see Betty, who is amused by his stress. However, Noah claims that he does not regret what happened between them. When he asks Betty about her date, she says it’s a surprise.

Meanwhile, Thomas discovers that Gabriel has prepared indexes full of infamous anecdotes and secrets about each of the prom guests. He asks them to change.

Later, Noah puts on the suit and asks his mother for her opinion. The latter considers his son brilliant. He adds that he finds her very good with Lola.

The pair meet at the Mistral bar, where Killian takes their picture. When they go to the ball, the young man is disappointed to be on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, Sunali introduces Dimitri to Bastien and Luna. Their meeting turns out to be particularly awkward, especially because of Bastien’s behavior.

While he’s bartending, Killian sees Betty walking through the Place du Mistral. On a whim, he forces all his customers to follow him…
