Amazon released this Monday (7/4) its first statement on the presence of “The Boys” in Brazil. A post posted on Prime Video’s social media asked fans of the series to ask the actors questions via Twitter. “The time has come to receive an answer directly from the cast of ‘The Boys’, c @ r @ lh0!”, Reads the text.
Jack Quaid (who plays Hughie Campbell), Karl Urban (Billy Bruto), Jensen Ackles (Soldier Boy), Antony Starr (Homeland), Nathan Mitchell (Black Noir), Karen Fukuhara (Kimiko), Claudia Doumit (Victoria Neuman) and the Series creator Eric Kripke landed in Sao Paulo on Sunday morning (3/7) to promote the series.
Urban, Quaid, and Mitchell have even posted variations of “hello, Brazil” on social media. And Starr shared a dinner photo of him: a “Brazilian Timothy”.
But Amazon hasn’t provided details on how it intends to leverage the actors’ presence in the capital Sao Paulo.
The lack of further information could indicate video recordings for the platform’s social networks, with answers to questions from Brazilian fans. Additionally, Amazon should take the opportunity to schedule interviews with TV channels.
Despite the “mystery”, when it announced the arrival of the cast with fanfare last week, the platform said they would attend an event between Monday (4/6) and Thursday (7/6). But nothing has been reported since.
The last chapter of the third season of “The Boys” will air next Friday (8/7) on Amazon Prime Video.
