In St. Petersburg at the cinema “Aurora” was held a closed premiere of the documentary “Jane through the eyes of Charlotte”. The guests of the evening were: Svetlana Bondarchuk and Sergey Kharchenko, Evgenia Milova and Grigory Tumanov, Maria Minogarova, Oksana On, Alexander Radaev, Masha Fedorova and others.
“Jane through Charlotte’s eyes” is Charlotte Gainsbourg’s meditative and subtle look at her mother – an icon of style, actress and singer, muse of Serge Gainsbourg – Jane Birkin. Charlotte Gainsbourg’s directorial debut (Nymphomaniac, Melancholia, Sleep Science) premiered at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. Especially for the release of the film, HELLO.RU remembered her biography and told why, like many film stars of the 20th century, the biography of the muse of Serge Gainsbourg is a ready-made script for a movie.
The film will be released in Russian distribution on July 7. At the end of July, the film will be available on the Wink video service.
