Brazilian football wrote another sad page this Sunday (2). During the match between Caxias and Figueirense, seventh round of Serie C, the fans of the two teams clashed in the stands of the Centenário stadium, in Caxias do Sul.
The match began at the start of the second half, when organized fans approached the divided area. The guardrail was torn down and the fight began. The police managed to disperse the confusion, but it took a lot of work. The game was stopped for three minutes.
Provocation among the fans
According to information, the provocation began before the ball rolled. As the match continued, the atmosphere between the parties heated up. Immediately after the brawl, the police removed the Figueirense fans from the stadium.
Caxias beat Figueirense
Inside the four lines, better for Caxias. At home, the Rio Grande do Sul team beat Figueirense 2-1. The goals were scored by Marcelo and Tomas Bastos. On Figueira’s side, Guilherme Pato scored the goal.
