We all want to watch good TV series, but not all of us have much time to spare. Plus, you can start a 3 or 4 season series and finally find out that it never had an ending! But luckily, there is a miniseries for such cases.
A miniseries has the advantage of telling a condensed story in a maximum of 10 episodes per season and can be watched without making a long-term commitment. And while we’re at it, we’ve not only listed the Netflix miniseries in their entirety, but we’ve also kept only the best ones thanks to the votes of AlloCiné internet users.
And if you have Prime Video, here are the 10 best series available!
The victory of failure
It’s the Queen’s Game that takes the top spot on the podium with a 4.4 out of 5 rating. This is a series that has managed to bring chess into the limelight. In 7 episodes, the show follows the journey of Beth Harmon, a real-life chess prodigy, from age 8 to 22, as well as her struggles, including her battle with addiction. Actress Anya Taylor-Joy (Furiosa) plays Beth Harmon and fascinates with her precision and incredible precision.
The top is very diverse, as there are biographical, but also horror (The Haunting of Hill House), socio-societal (from their point of view, unbelievable), thriller (Ripley, an adaptation of novels about Tom Ripley from the talented Mr. Ripley) and even straight Westerns (Godless).
Be careful though, In their Eyes and Unbelievable deal with rape. The first follows five black teenagers falsely accused of rape, while the second follows the investigation of two detectives looking for a serial killer and a victim who ends up in the dock.
