Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Wednesday, June 5, 2024 episode recap [SPOILERS]

Warning, the following paragraphs contain spoilers for the episode of Un Si Grand Soleil that airs Friday night on France 2! If you don’t want to understand anything, don’t read the following!

Wednesday June 5th at Un si grand soleil…

Natalie and Laurent are closer

AL Cosmectiques, Laurent confides in Enrique that he has declared his love for Natalie. Unfortunately, he was struck by a ruckus. He wonders how he could have thought for a second that Natalie could be interested in a man like him. Enrique points out that she deserves a relationship as much as anyone else. He advises his friend to give Natalie time to get to know him.

A little later in the day, Natalie goes to Laurent’s office because she senses an awkwardness between them. Laurent admits that he is embarrassed by what they said to each other the other day. Natalie admits to Laurent that she appreciates all the moments they spent together.

He would think it would be a shame if they broke up. Laurent admits to him that he thinks the same thing. Natalie invites him to a small restaurant for dinner in the evening. Laurent gladly accepts.

At the cabin, Tom invites Emma to dinner with him and Maeve tonight. The young woman accepts and offers to ask Natalie to join them. Tom thinks this is a good idea. Emma immediately calls their mother.

He walks in the marina with Laurent. Emma invites her mother to come and have dinner with her, Tom, and Maeve. Natalie thanks him, but he declines because he’s busy. After getting off the phone, Emma explains to Tom that Natalie has been very shy.

The restaurant Natalie wanted to try is unfortunately closed. Laurent suggests going to the casino. Natalie, who hid her gambling addiction from him, feels uncomfortable, but finally accepts. He is drunk on slot machines and wins 400 euros. Leaving the casino, Natalie tells Laurent that he is her lucky charm. After kissing him, he asks her to sleep at his place.

Nothing is going well between Clement and Janet

Janet and Clement return home. Janet is angry with her husband. The latter tries to convince his wife to listen to him even for a moment. Clement feels guilty and doesn’t know how he could do this.

He then explains to Janet that he preferred not to tell her anything for fear of losing everything in a moment of distraction. With tears in her eyes and still so angry, Janet asks why she shared an intimate moment with her ex-wife and the mother of his daughter if it really means nothing to her.

Becker tries to explain to her that it was just an impulse. He tells Janet that she is the only person he cares about and that he loves her, but to no avail. Janet goes to her room.

The next morning, at the BGL office, Johanna asks Claudine if she has any news on the rape complaint. But it has no additional information. Claudine tells her associate that she tried to pressure Becker the night before, but she took it a bit too far. Johanna admits that she also has a hard time hiding her irritation with Ian.

At the police station, Ellis works to interrogate Baptiste Zhusan. He considers it disgusting and humiliating. He wants to do everything he can to catch her with Ian’s help. However, he did not reveal anything that would be useful to them. Ian hopes it all pays off because Johanna has been mad at him for two days, convinced the police aren’t doing anything. He has a hard time cheating on her.

A few minutes later, Ian reports on the investigation to Becker and Michelle Picard. He tells them about an interview with a former Jousan employee. He told her that he was still in contact with a company employee and that the latter had overheard a violent argument between him and Camille Grignac in the week before the alleged rape. The prosecutor thinks that this witness should be questioned immediately.

In turn, Claudine informs Camille that the police refused her request for a confrontation. The young woman is shocked and disappointed. The lawyer assures Camille that he will listen to her and asks her to trust him.

Later in the day, Clement is waiting for Janet outside the hospital when he gets a call from Allen, who asks how their evening at the restaurant went. Clement confides in her that Janet found out he cheated on her with Claudine. He took it very badly.

Allen wants to be reassuring. He is sure that she will eventually forgive him. Becker says he will do anything to get his wife back. A few minutes later, Clement goes to meet his wife and suggests that they go for a walk on the beach. But Janet would rather go home. He’s had a long day and the last thing he wants is to hear his explanations. Clement blames the hit…
