Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Friday 7 June 2024 episode recap [SPOILERS]

Friday June 7th at Un si grand soleil…

Laurent learns the truth about Natalie

Natalie wants to formally introduce Laurent to her children. He asks Tom if he’ll be free at the end of the day so they can drink wild together. This way they can really get to know each other. Tom receives his mother’s pleasure.

At L Cosmetiques, Laurent tells Nathalie that she missed him a lot after yesterday. The latter offers to meet with his children the same evening. Laurent is surprised and touched. He accepts without hesitation.

He absolutely wants to meet them. Happy, Laurent rushes to share the news with Enrique. His colleague wonders if this is too hasty. Laurent doesn’t think so. In his opinion, this proves that Natalie does not take their relationship lightly. She then asks Enrique about his love life. The latter confides in him that he is still single. Laurent advises him to go out to meet people.

At high school, Tom tells Maeve that her mother wants to introduce her to Laurent. He doesn’t feel comfortable meeting her so quickly. He asks Maeva to come with him, but she refuses. He prefers to leave them with his family.

At Les Sauvages, Emma and Tom officially meet Laurent. The latter is full of praise for Natalie. Emma confides in Laurent that she is happy to have met him. He noticed that his mother seemed happy with him. The young woman then confides in him that her mother has her qualities, but she also has her weaknesses. Laurent tries to reassure her by saying that he has no intention of harming her.

In the evening, Laurent confides in Natalie that Emma mentioned her weaknesses and asks her what she meant. Natalie admits to him that she was addicted to games. Laurent is happy about this, but regrets taking her to the casino. Natalie claims she treated herself and is now cured.

Claudine discovers the prosecutor’s plan

Claudine and Camille Grignac met with Prosecutor Picard. The latter explains to them that he takes the rape complaint very seriously. He has already dealt with Baptiste Zhusan in the past and knows that he is dangerous.

Michelle tells Camille that one of her former colleagues, Benjamin, overheard their argument with Baptiste a few days after the rape. Unfortunately, he denies everything outright, fearing Zhusan’s reprisals.

The prosecutor advises Camille to go with him to convince her to testify. A young woman accepts. Picard explains to him that he will quickly arrange a confrontation between them at the police station.

Claudine calms down because she thought the police weren’t interested in the matter. Picard confides in him that he asked Commissioner Becker to pretend he wasn’t making progress in the investigation in order to get Jossan to sleep. He still wants to emphasize that Clement and his men were very involved from the start.

Janet confesses her betrayal

Early in the morning, Clement asks Janet if she’ll be home late this evening, which she won’t be. He suggests going shopping after work to prepare dinner. Janet is very cold and puts distance between them. Becker decides to confront Janet. They don’t know what to do to fix things and they can’t stay in this state. Janet avoided the discussion, saying she had to go to work.

At Les Sauvages, Sabine is having coffee with Claudine. He asks his mother if she knows why the relationship between Clement and Jeanette is strained. She worries about him. Claudine admits to Sabina that it’s her fault.

She explains to her daughter that she talked to Clement about the time they slept together and unfortunately, Janet overheard the whole conversation. Sabine is surprised and does not hide her disappointment towards her mother. Claudine reminds him that it takes two to have sex. Sabina leaves annoyed.

At the hospital, Allen and Janet discuss a patient’s case. Allen takes the opportunity to parallel the theme of Clement’s betrayal with his own story. He is sure that their relationship will overcome this ordeal.

Janet admits to him that she is not as confident as he is and that in their situation things are a little more complicated. He prefers to change the subject. As Allen leaves, he calls Clement. She leaves him a message asking what time he will be home this evening. They need to talk to each other.

In turn, Sabine tells Hugo that her mother and father slept together before the latter’s marriage. She is convinced that her mother was trying to seduce her because she can’t wait for him to run away. Hugo thinks Sabina should stop meddling in her parents’ affairs. But Sabina can’t help but worry about her father.

At nightfall, Janet finds Clement at their house. She confides in him that she was hurt and disappointed when she found out that he cheated on her before marriage. She thinks she could forgive him, but unfortunately, this is not the only problem.

She confesses to her husband that she also betrayed him. Becker blames the hit. He wants to know who her lover was, but Janet doesn’t think it matters. He emphasizes that the main thing is to understand why they cheated on each other. She finally wonders if their marriage makes sense.
