Aladdin: Freeze frame at 47 minutes and 18 seconds and take a close look at what the Sultan is doing

Like the episodes of the Star Wars saga or the feature films that make up the Marvel Cinematic Universe, most of the classics animated by Disney Studios (at least since the 90s) have many little surprises.

So, with a good sense of observation, the most observant viewer will easily notice King Triton from the Little Mermaid, who is transformed into a carnival princess, and the frog, the evil Prince Hans, who is reduced to a statue in a new one. characters, or the lovable jock from Lady and the Tramp who inexplicably sits among the hyenas in The Lion King.

A cave of hidden wonders

In short, Disney characters going into a full-length movie that they shouldn’t have taken in the first place is almost a tradition!

Like the abundant cave of wonders in which part of its plot is set, Aladdin is particularly rich in material. Indeed, throughout the film and especially through Genie’s transformations, we can make out Pinocchio, Sebastian the Crab and even Mickey Mouse.

But 47 minutes and 18 seconds into the featurette, in the sequence where we see the Sultan of Agrabah having fun with his toys (before Prince Ali arrives), there’s another Disney cameo you probably didn’t notice.

A beast… but not only that!

On the pyramid of figures that the sovereign is working to erect, next to the great red hippopotamus is the beast…Beauty and the Beast (see above).

This hidden detail, mentioned quite regularly by fans, is now known to Easter egg lovers. But look even closer to the building and notice the presence of Dodger, Oliver and company’s friendly street dog (at the bottom of the scaffolding), and Iago, the jovial parrot from Jafar in Aladdin, to say the least. Higher (see above)?

If you manage to spot other Disney characters hidden elsewhere in the movie, feel free to share your discoveries with us in the comments.
