One day after revealing the remaster of Killing Time, Nightdive Studios announced The Thing: Remastered, a new version of the 2002 survival horror classic, whose story serves as a continuation of the cult film The Riddle of Another World.
With numerous improvements, including unprecedented results, 4K resolution, performance up to 144 fps, anti-aliasing and per-pixel lighting, the game will be released later this year for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox. X|S Series.
In the game, players control the American Special Forces character, Captain Blake, who has been sent to Antarctica to find out what happened to the research team from the 1982 film.
Blake will have the support of a team of survivors he finds there, over the course of 20 levels in which players will have to face terrifying creatures, as well as discover whether or not they can trust each other, requiring them to discover which people are human and which are monsters in disguise.
