France 3 broadcasts this Tuesday evening at 21:10 a special bonus from Plus belle la vie called “Retrouvailles”. To cap off a busy year in style, Scotto High School students rally around Lola for a prom night.
Dimitri’s family elevated castle is claimed. Students and parents are ready for a wild evening. As Sunal prepares to unravel the mystery of Dimitri’s sister’s suicide and Betty twists her heartstrings, an evil hand sabotages the evening to turn it into a nightmare…
Featuring the return of many iconic characters, this 90-minute episode is the scene of the long-awaited reunion between Luna and Rudy (Ambroise Michel). On that note, Ann Desis told us a little more about the filming of this bonus, as well as the future of her character in the next episodes of Plus belle la vie.
Allociné: The Reunion Bonus sees the return of former cast members from Plus belle la vie. how did you find them Were you excited to once again play the role of your fictional son, Ambrose Michel?
Anna Decis : I was very happy when I heard that old people would be on this bonus, because we are all always happy to find ourselves. It was a bit like summer camp on the set, it was really nice.
I was also particularly pleased to find Ambroise, with whom I have a somewhat privileged relationship. I worked with him for so many years. We were both very excited about this meeting. Playing with Ambrose is like riding a bike again, you can’t forget that. I immediately felt very natural and we laughed a lot.
In the evening there is a gallery of time, on which old images of the series are projected. Is this gallery really created for filming? How to immerse yourself in the memories of the series?
Unfortunately, I don’t have scenes at Galerie du Temps, I was acting in the theater at the time. But this is a place that was really created on the set of the premiere. The teams built these large projection panels and selected images directly from Plus belle la vie, but also personal images of the teams to create this atmosphere.
In Prime, Luna gets drugged and starts to run riot. Did you have fun shooting these scenes?
Yes, it was blessed bread. I had a very happy score. When you have to push yourself a little bit and get away from the everyday, it’s always very exciting. But I was still a bit stressed because I didn’t want to overdo it so that it became ridiculous. The line between being out of control without falling into pathos is always fine. But the game was very interesting.
A homecoming bonus is also an opportunity for Luna to make a fiery statement to Bastien. It seems she has finally found happiness in his arms. Do you think he is the man of her life? Will she end the series with him?
I can’t tell you that (laugh). My character is a very passionate person and he often suffered from the favorites. Guillaume decided to go to Laos, Sasha chose another, and Pavel was a criminal. That’s why Luna was never really lucky in love. I’m not going to reveal it to you, but things are still planned for my love journey.
The premiere ends with a shot of fire that can be seen in the distance. In the summaries of the next episodes of Plus belle la vie, we can read that the Castells and Luna will have a firefight. Can you tell us more?
It was good that the scriptwriters chose to talk about forest fires, because it is a little like the daily life of people living in the south of France. It was a very interesting game. We shot in a natural environment and, of course, the production did not set the forest on fire.
To recreate the fires, we worked with Provence studios in the middle of the LED screens. This is a technique that revolutionizes the green screens we are used to playing on. It was very impressive.
What awaits Luna in the summer?
I can’t say too much without spoiling it, but there’s a lot more to come. I have a chance to be on several plots in the summer. I’m privileged to be trusted by authors, so I’ve had a lot to play with in the last few weeks. I am happy because I am happy to the end.

Bastien’s wife Elodie left Marseille and her family a few months ago. Will a character appear soon and damage her relationship with Bastien?
I don’t know yet. But I really enjoyed playing with Stephanie Pasterkamp, who plays Elodie. I will be very happy if it comes back because it will be the source of the coup. And then I like to play with this family. Let’s see what the future holds.
Luna seems to have been adopted by Bastien’s children, who now consider her a stepmother. Will it last? Did they really give him a place in the family?
We all get on really well, Nicolas Berger-Vachon, the three kids who are there, and even Theo Currin, who I keep in touch with. During these days we built a great relationship.
I also have a real crush on three teenagers. They are people I really enjoy working with and I think they are very talented. This intrigue surrounding the forest fire will bring them closer as they face a new tragedy.
In the final prime, Luna was depressed about ending up like her mother and ran a hotel, before attempting suicide. With the arrival of the Castells, she finds herself once again at the helm of Zephyr, but she remains very happy. What has changed for him? Do you think he will succeed in the hotel?
I think this is the principle of the blended family. Luna’s problem goes beyond the hotel. She didn’t want to get stuck and end up like her mother, especially since all the men in her life had left her.
But he really didn’t want it to end. There is too much life in this character to follow his impulses. Rediscovering that childhood love and discovering the joys of a blended family saved her.

However, my character is very cyclical, so we are not immune to decent news. We must not forget that this is fiction, and if everyone were happy, there would be nothing more to say. Our characters go through a lot of hardships and have ups and downs, but that’s what keeps the audience interested.
Many iconic characters are back in this premiere. And we suspect many more will return by the end of the series. I guess you can’t name names to keep it a surprise, but if there was a character you’d like to see come back, who would it be?
There are so many… I loved working with Virgil Bale who played Guillaume and Avi Marciano who played Sasha. I also really wanted to see Ambroise, so I’m very happy there. There are also a lot of characters that I liked but didn’t really get to play with.
For example, I am very impressed with Colleen D’Inca, who plays Sybil Cassani. I am very happy that she agreed to return for this bonus. There are actors that I have a lot of love for and admire a lot, and Koline is one of them.
