Amazon Prime Video has released the subtitled trailer for “Paper Girls,” a series based on the award-winning comic books by Brian K. Vaughan (also creator of “The Runaways”) and Cliff Chiang.
The plot takes place the morning after Halloween 1988, when the four chronicles, starring Riley Lai Nelet (“Altered Carbon”), Sofia Rosinsky (“Fast Layne”), Camryn Jones (“Perpetual Grace, LTD”) and Fina Strazza ( “The Invisible Woman”), make an unexpected detour on the newspaper delivery route, unintentionally arriving in the future – which is 2019. In addition to being caught off guard by the situation, they are chased by the weather police. , which considers them criminals for illegal travel.
Produced by Legendary Television in association with Plan B, Brad Pitt’s company, the adaptation is signed by Stephany Folsom, co-writer of “Toy Story 4”, who also produces the attraction in collaboration with screenwriters Christopher Cantwell and Christopher.
