Netflix was developing a new series, which would continue the franchise, but chose to cancel the project and end the partnership with Hasbro
More than thirty years after debuting on TV in 1993, power Rangers may finally come to an end. According to information from the TVLineThe Netflix canceled a new series, which had been in development for two years, putting the franchise at risk of being closed.
The new series would be led by Jenny Klein, Jessica Jones (2015-2019), The Witcher (2019- ) and Daisy Jones & The Six (2023), in partnership with Jonathan Entwistlein The End of the F***ing Worldd (2017-2019) and I Am Not Okay with This (2020).
With Netflix’s decision to cancel the new feature, Hasbro Entertainment, which holds the rights to power Rangerswill try to save the franchise by offering it to potential new partners, so that the project can continue.
