Hoping this summer, Daryl Dixon Season 2 will finally be released a little later than expected. But fans can rest assured that the sequel to The Walking Dead starring Norman Reedus will air this summer, as confirmed by the Paramount+ platform.

Walking Dead zombies are coming to France!

As a reminder, the action of Daryl Dixon takes place shortly after the end of The Walking Dead, parallel to the story of two spin-offs, Dead City (with Maggie and Negan) and The Ones Who Live (a mini-series with Rick Grimes). Michonne). What makes the show unique is that it is set in France and is no longer in the Atlanta area like the main series.

Also, due to this offshore filming, Melissa McBride – Carol Pelletier’s translator – had to withdraw from the project. But luckily, it’s already been announced that the character will be back in Daryl Dixon’s Season 2, also with credits. The Book of Carols (Carol’s book, in French).

Is there a third season planned?

The two characters who formed the iconic duo in The Walking Dead are now thousands of kilometers apart. While Daryl doesn’t seem ready to abandon his new allies in France just yet, Carol, for her part, embarks on a desperate quest to find and save her friend.

No crossovers with other franchise spin-offs are planned for this Season 2, but a reunion described as “The Avengers of The Walking Dead universe” is being discussed. Dead City Season 2 is also ordered, and Daryl Dixon Season 3 is in the works (but not yet officially announced).
