It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Thursday 13 June 2024 Episode 946 [SPOILERS]

On Thursday, June 13, it all starts here…

Quentin attacks Malik

Determined to get revenge on Malik, who she suspects of sending a photo of her and Quentin to the school’s WhatsApp group, Maya dutifully leaves a note in Hortense’s locker. In the hallway, Maya runs into Jim, who apologizes for stressing her out about his behavior towards her the day before. Maya understands. The couple is ready to break it down for the first test of the exams.

Meanwhile, Malik confronts Carla about an anonymously sent photo. He suspects she posted it to the group because she was also at the park when Maya and Quentin got close. So Malik insists that Carla tell everyone the truth and that Maya stop believing that she is responsible. Seeing the young man’s reaction, Carla realizes that Malik has a soft spot for Maya. She agrees to reveal the truth after the exams are over.

Some students find themselves in the kitchen for their first exam. Hortense returns the letter she found in his closet to Malik and declares that what he wrote there is unacceptable. Malik looks at her and denies that he is the author of this declaration of love. Leonardo quickly realizes that this is Maya’s revenge. Indeed, he gives Malik the middle finger.

Accompanied by Quentin, Chef Leroy goes to the kitchens to announce the theme of the test: make your choice of soup and side dishes from a traditional Japanese dish in two hours and with no technical information. Students actually got to observe and taste the recipes prepared by Quentin.

During the ordeal, Malik complains about Maya’s behavior to Leonard. The latter asks her to focus on cooking because she keeps making mistakes. Malik pulls back, but too late.

At the end of the test, Hortense and Leroy taste the students’ preparation to grade them, while Quentin provides an outside opinion. Maya and Jimmy get a score of 18/20, which gives them deep relief. Malik and Leonard, on the other hand, get 9/20. Malik apologizes to his partner, but doesn’t want to hear anything. When Maya comes to see him to find out what happened, Leonard replies that the revenge game fell on him.

After this altercation, Maya tries to find her best friend to talk to her, to no avail. Quentin then congratulates him on his grade, but Malik cuts them off. She swears to Maya that she didn’t post the photo in the school group and explains that Carla is the one really responsible. He then blames the young girl for failing their exam with his vengeful letter and fears that he and Leonard will be fired if they don’t get an average on the exams. Angry, Malik calls Maya selfish until Quentin ends the discussion.

A little later, Quentin is waiting for Malik outside the room. He grabbed his collar, ready to pull him over the railing. He makes Malik promise not to go near Maya again and threatens to physically attack him if he doesn’t comply…

David meets Hippolyte

In a cafe downtown, Billy and David, who are paired up for exams, practice mentally together. Suddenly, Hippolytus approaches their table and expresses his desire to speak to David to apologize. But the young man replies that he does not care at all. Hippolytus does not approve.

During the first test of the exams, Billy makes sure that David is okay, worried that his encounter with Hippolyte has upset him. In the end, the young man managed to concentrate and be resourceful during their ordeal. Thus, they get 15/20 – the same score as the pair formed by Vicky and Solal.

Pleased with their score, Bill and David intend to redouble their efforts during the second test. Billy is proud of his partner because he didn’t let Hippolyte destabilize him. David admits that he imagined this moment many times and is very proud that he managed the situation. Finally, he is ready to hear her excuse.

Will Kelly leave Lionel?

After learning that he was up very early, Kelly found Lionel at CDI to support him in his master’s project oral presentation that took place the next day. Lionel then tells his girlfriend that he has new ideas for his project: in this case, he wants to attract a double clientele by offering a zero-inflation but also low-carbon restaurant. Kelly doubts it would be genius to add so many changes to his project without first studying them. But Lionel assures him that it is for the best.

During the day, Rose brings the master’s students together to tell them that their projects will be judged the next day by an independent jury of chefs, pastry chefs and investors. Like never before, Lionel shares his ideas with Jude about their restaurant project. Jude, who in his turn is going to introduce another concept, does not think these ideas are reasonable. And Enzo advises Lionel to wait for confirmation from Rose before making any last minute changes to his project. Lionel listens again.

At the park, Judy continues to discuss with Lionel the changes she needs to add to the project. Passing by them, Livio admits that he would not calm down to present a project that is not yet certain. An overconfident Lionel replies that he will succeed with this project, just as he will succeed in his love life with Kelly.

Later in the day, Jasmine and Kelly celebrate their 19/20 by having drinks with Lionel. Kelly finally explains to Lionel that Salome asked him to come work at a restaurant in Dinar when he graduates. And Kelly is interested. It’s a big blow to Lionel: Kelly’s departure to Brittany means a breakup. Jasmine suggests that they talk about it again after the exams.
