The film “The Girl of the 20th Century” tells several adventures about friendship and first love. It all begins when a high school student named Bo-ra (Kim Yoo-jung) accepts the job of guarding the squash best friend while the girl needs to leave the country. Na Bo-ra (Kim Yoo-jung) is a typical 17-year-old high school girl. One day, your best friend tells you that she is in love with a boy from her school, but that she can’t invest in him at the moment because she would have to leave for the United States to have heart surgery.

To prevent her friend from staying in Korea and postpone the surgery that would save her life, Bo-ra convinces her to travel and accepts an important mission: to travel near the squash your friend until she comes back. The goal was to gather as much information about him from a distance, but eventually they start talking to each other.

The girl then notices a certain sympathy not only for him, but also for the boy’s best friend, who is also handsome and a good person. Before she knows it, Bo-ra is involved in a love triangle and she must decide what to do about it before her friend returns to South Korea.
