Tomorrow Belongs to Us: Sammy Gharbi says (a little) more about the rest of the plot

To put it mildly, the Syed family is going through a turbulent time tomorrow belongs to us.

It must be said that Ryan (Sasha Bird) finds himself in the middle of a mysterious drug cartel and is forced to sell the famous “enhancers” in order to retrieve a letter from his late father.

If the situation is already complicated, unfortunately it will get even more complicated in the coming days. And for good reason, Karim (Sami Gharbi) is part of the police team responsible for catching the dealer.

Suffice it to say, Captain Said will have to choose between his job and his nephew during the next episodes of the TF1 daily soap opera.

“Ryan goes to the dark side of the force”

In a column for Télé 7 jours, on newsstands this week, Captain Said’s translator, Sammy Garby, spoke about the plot, which promises to create tension between the uncle and his nephew.

“It has to do with Ryan’s father who died and left him a letter containing revelations. A victim of a sort of psychological hostage-taking, he will go to the dark side of the force“- explains the actor.

As for whether Kareem could compromise to protect his nephew, Sammy Garb was quite reassuring. “Karim is a good Samaritan on the side of justice. But when it comes to his family… it’s going to be difficult for him“.

Karim’s love story soon?

After breaking up with lonely Anna (Maude Becker), Karim never finds love in Tomorrow Belongs to Us. Although many viewers want to see the character in a couple, Sammy Gharbi sees things differently.

“It was a debate with our collection director, Nicolas Brossett, and the production. I said, “Relax” because Karim already had many love stories. First he was with Lucy, then with Anna for five years. He went through all the stages of the relationship: cheating, questions…“.

So the actor suggested that we leave his character alone and that “Instead, we create something different: this strong bond with our nephew“.

Despite everything, Kareem could find love again during the next episodes of the TF1 daily soap opera. According to Sammy Gharb, “ There is some kind of pipeline and it will soon bring me back to the path of a beautiful lady… (laughs)“.
