I’m not surprised that every young girl in the world would want to be kissed by Leonardo DiCaprio. It wasn’t all it’s cracked up to be,” he recalled.

“We kept having this kiss, and I had a lot of light makeup on and I would have to do our makeup checks – on both of us, between takes – and it would end up looking like I was sucking on a caramel chocolate bar after every take because his makeup came out of me,” continued the actress.

To make matters worse, with the makeup crumbling and mixing, the responsible team was not available to carry out the necessary touch-ups.

“This was a section of the ship, it wasn’t part of the whole ship that we had. We had to climb a ladder to get there,” he said. Winslet. “[O pessoal responsável por] hair and makeup couldn’t reach us. Now what you wouldn’t know, because Leo It looks completely natural, but he had to lie on lounge chairs and there’s a lot of fake tan makeup going on.”

Still, the actress found filming this scene “very funny” for the two, who were “laughing and covered in each other’s makeup.”
