The fans of The House of the Dragon they are doubly happy. After a long wait, the premiere of the second season of the series will take place next Sunday (16th). And even before the new episodes aired, Max confirmed the renewal of the spin-off of game of Thrones (HAD) for a third season.
The decision to announce the renewal of the series in these hours confirms the confidence regarding the second season. Francesca Orsi, executive vice president of programming at HBO, as well as head of the channel’s drama series and films, have already announced that the second year of The House of the Dragon it will be “phenomenal” and “reach new heights.”
During the statement, production managers said they were impressed by the work of the entire team. And they assured that there will be much more to explore in season three.
Despite the announcement, there is no release date for the third year of the spin-off. Season two will begin airing on the 16th, with new episodes airing every Sunday. Below is the program for the second season:
