According to Burger King, King Ribs marks the launch of a new premium line of sandwiches from the brand, called The Kings.
According to the company, “the past has served to rethink attitudes and create an even better sandwich, with premium ingredients never used before by the chain”, reads the launch note.
The launch campaign, created by the David agency, also includes a video that begins with the story: “Dear Procon-SP, when our Whopper Rib was cancelled, it hurt. But today we are grateful. If it weren’t for you , we weren’t going to create a prime rib sandwich, made with chopped prime rib.” The material ends with “Thank you, Procon-SP!”.
