On Monday 17 June at Un si grand soleil…
Cecil gives Becker the green light to resume his investigation of the florist
Early in the morning, Jeanette informs Clement that Father Pavan texted her during the night to warn him that he was going back to France. When Commissioner Becker assures her that it was for the best, Janet replies that she hopes so. Indeed, the latter wanted the priest to be able to prove his innocence. When Clement promises to be impartial, Janet breaks down in tears and tells her husband how worried she is, before specifying that she doesn’t want to lose him. Taking her by the hand, Clement declares that he loves her, then they kiss passionately.
Meanwhile, Christophe is in great shape and even goes for a dip in the swimming pool before breakfast. When he asks Achilles to join him, the latter refuses because he has to go to class.
Later, Commissioner Becker meets with Judge Alphand in his office. The latter came to say that it was necessary to reopen the investigation into the florist. While he tries to find out if he has anything new, the policeman, feeling uncomfortable, explains that Pawan’s father hastily left for Paraguay because he was having an affair with his wife. He also specifies that Jeanette is convinced that the priest left France to avoid the police. Cecil, who then realizes that Father Pavan is probably not the killer they’re looking for, gives Becker the green light to resume his investigation.
At the same time, Cecil asks Chloe to reveal all the items related to the florist.
Not far away, Claudine goes to the hospital and apologizes to Janet for what she heard the other night. In an ironic tone, Dr. Lewis says that the problem is not what he said, but what he did. After admitting that he was right, Claudine asks him to understand that her affair with Clement was not a provocation on his part, nor an intention to harm their relationship. So she apologizes to him for this confusion, which she is not proud of. Dryly, Janet then replies that his excuses don’t matter to her, before specifying that this innocent awkwardness has done their relationship good. Indeed, Janet claims that this story allowed them to measure how much they cared for each other.
At the police station, Commissioner Becker, Manu and Hugo evaluate the florist’s investigation. With Father Pavan to be arrested within 48 hours, the police decide to start over the case of Obert’s murder and check the priest’s schedule during the alleged murder of the florist.
At the end of the day, Ian and Hugo meet to play basketball. An opportunity for the criminalist to tell his friend how happy he is to renew the investigation of the florist. At the same time, Hugo receives a message from Christophe, who tells him that he can’t join them because he just got out of a major operation.
At nightfall, Cecile tells Christophe that Father Pavan is going back to France to answer police questions. The killer tries to hide his worries…
Achille and Noura rediscover their complicity
Stefan and Nura have breakfast in their new house. And suffice it to say, mother and daughter enjoy listening to the birdsong. Nura then takes the opportunity to thank her mother for working so hard to buy this villa. Stephanie claims it was worth it and then encourages her daughter to continue her studies so she can do the same in a few years.
Before leaving for work, Stephanie reminds her daughter that she won’t be there tonight because she’s having dinner with Karine. So he prompts her to invite her friends over to thank them for helping her move, and then leaves her €100 to order a pizza.
Arriving at school, Nura invites her classmates to spend the evening. Achilles and Tom quickly agree. When the teenager shows them the tickets her mother left for dinner, Tommy and Achilles can’t believe Stephanie won the lottery. Nura then explains to them again that her mother works hard to earn a living.
Immediately, Achille calls Cecile to ask permission to have dinner with a friend. Cecil gladly accepts and even offers to pick him up.
In the afternoon, Tommy tells Achilles that Noura has left her boyfriend. So he encourages him to try his luck with the young woman again. Only, Achilles really doesn’t want to be rejected again.
Meanwhile, Karine and Stephanie are having a drink at the bar. After toasting her new life, Karine tells her friend how impressed she was by the trip. Stephanie admits that she never thought she would one day manage five stores.
At the end of the day, the adults meet at Nuura’s house. The latter takes advantage of a moment alone with Maeva to tell her that she does not regret leaving Jordan at all. Two young girls then join Tom and Achilles to play on the console. And suffice it to say, the complicity is between Nura and Achilles.
At nightfall, Achilles receives a call from his mother, who warns her that she is waiting outside. Nura leads him to the gate, and Cecil watches the two teenagers with a smile on his lips. After returning home, Cecil cannot help but be curious and question Achilles about his relationship with Noura, but to no avail. And when he tells her that he thinks she’s very beautiful, Achille can’t help but smile.
