An exclusive preview for Prime Video subscribers of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” has been revealed and includes the release date of a new teaser.
Only Prime Video subscribers will be able to see the exclusive preview of “The Rings of Power”. Just enter Amazon’s streaming platform and search for the name of the series to see the video that lasts just under 40 seconds.
The video shows a kind of meteor crossing the sky of Middle-earth as its inhabitants react to this arrival, which is still a mystery.
In addition to this video, Amazon has released a shorter version, which you can watch below, inviting you to watch the full preview.
In the preview, Prime Video reveals that a new teaser for “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” will be released on July 14th. It is worth mentioning that the series has already won a trailer previously, shown in February during the Super Bowl, which can be seen here.
The series is based on the work of JRR Tolkien and takes place during the Second Age of Middle-earth, thousands of years before the epic events we witnessed in the “Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” trilogies. In all, Amazon plans to release five seasons of the series, for a total of 50 contract hours with the company to adapt Tolkien’s work. According to the creators, these five seasons are already fully imagined.
