TF1: Amir becomes the star of the new romance series Beauty and the Baker

Of Ხma Until the cake, just one more step… TF1 has just announced the start of filming for a new series called La belle et le boulanger, starring the iconic former participant of the talent show: the singer Amir, who uses his last name for this project and therefore becomes Amir Haddad , will play the character of Benjamin Mercier.

Here, the artist will face Ludmila von Klaer, who will portray Louise Mayer. Everything is against our future heroes and yet… Every day at dawn, Louise goes by plane to the parade of the greatest fashion designers, Benjamin bakes his first baguettes in the family bakery.

Louisa and Benjamin were never meant to cross paths…but their chance meeting takes place in the restrooms of a restaurant. This goes on for 90 seconds… before Vanessa surprises Benjamin and publicly asks him to marry her. Benjamin’s perfectly ordered life is turned upside down that evening, dragging his entire family down.

Already several adaptations around the world

In Lady and the Baker, Amir Haddad and Ludmila Von Klear share the screen with Lionel Astier, Matilda May, Xavier Robik, Sarah Stern (who plays Vanessa), Gary Mihaileanu and Mitty Hazanavicius. The authors of the series are Carolyn Fran, Marion Michau, Jane Rifol, Leah Lando and Ichem Saib. The director finally goes to Hervé Mimran.

This upcoming feature will be divided into four 52-minute episodes. It is adapted from the Israeli format The Baker and the Beauty, which has three seasons. Several adaptations have already been developed around the world. Thus, there is a version in the Netherlands, India or even the United States.
