Off-field work in football is becoming increasingly important in times of social media. One of the most referenced professionals on the market in this field, Samuel Diniz has been the bridge between sports marketing and Adidas, German supplier of sports equipment for clubs such as Flamengo, for more than 13 years, and in this second half of the year he it has become the key to exporting the experience acquired to new areas.

At 34 years old, Samuel Diniz began to face a new challenge in his sporting career. As a consultant, he guides and advises agents, parents of athletes and footballers in the field of sports marketing. Additionally, he organizes seminars to help the public understand the business world of football and other sports.

Over the years at Adidas, Samuel Diniz has participated in marketing campaigns with important athletes from the Brazilian scene, such as Pedro, Rodrigo Caio, Marcelo, Jhon Arias and German Cano. In a conversation with Esporte News Mundo, he recalled the time.

– I lived a dream serving great athletes on the national and international scene, there is a huge market when we talk about sponsoring athletes. My role is to understand the results of these companies, how they define their strategy and how they perform in the market. In this way we can make better and more effective decisions – underlined the expert.
