According to security guards, food and drinks were reserved exclusively for celebrity guests. After learning of what had happened, a goldsmith shop launched a marketing action: Bárbara Guimarães will be present as a VIP to “avenge the expulsion from Rock in Rio”, says the company. “You can eat as many croquettes as you want” and there will also be cold beer available.

The festival’s producers released a statement of apology in an attempt to alleviate the media damage. “The event organization regrets the team’s excessive rigor and lack of sensitivity in their approach,” reads an excerpt. Denying a simple croquette was expensive.
