Xiaomi launches the rice cooker with app control and 3 liters of capacity


Xiaomi has launched the rice cooker that can be controlled via app and keeps food warm for 12 hours

A Xiaomi has just updated its line of home products with the new Smart Multifunctional Rice Cooker. The product was previously introduced in China and is now reaching more markets.

The product differentiates itself by supporting control via the Xiaomi Home app, through which it is possible to adjust the pan remotely. You can change aspects such as cooking time and rice texture, for example.

Another feature is the possibility of programming preparation 24 hours in advance, as well as leaving the rice hot for up to 12 hours. Furthermore, the internal sensors ensure that the temperature is always the right one, without burning the food.

The rice cooker has a three-litre internal compartment, enough to prepare ten rice dishes at a time. The internal compartment is made of aluminum alloy, with non-stick material for easy cleaning.

Externally the product is equipped with physical controls to control the pan, as well as a small display that serves to indicate the remaining cooking time. In addition to the product, the package contains accessories such as steam basket, rice shovel, ladle and measuring cup.

Price and availability

The Xiaomi rice cooker was presented in selected markets in Europe, at the official price of €49 (approximately R$266 in direct conversion). There are no forecasts yet for sales in South America.
